I could with load management run my home on 10k. I know everyone here loves there military units but I looked at different direction when I was setting up my parents place. Since it had to be hands free because of there age I thought natural gas and a self maintaining unit. We had NG piped into...
One would think that you got the fuel control tab in the collar slot or it would not have gone in. I have found when installing the fuel control that the arm on the fuel control has to be at around the 4 o'clock position because the collar is slid down on the plunger. You did say that when you...
Think he was talking about the injector side. Yea I don't like to mess with them at the injector if I don't have to so as not to twist one if the ferrule does not spin. I have removed the Head with just taking off the vibration clips and with help I wrapped a belt around the loose lines at the...
Yea agree How? I used the same green cleaning pads on both plug and Head with no problems. There was someone that said they used an O ring one time. I did not answer that post.
No the fuel line runs from the secondary to final and then to the IP. You might be looking at the return line on the Head that runs back to the secondary and then runs to the fuel tank. Never need to crack injector lines on the Deuce it is self clearing system with a running in tank fuel pump...
I was just about to do the same thing on a 809 fuel tank. The only thing is it must be washed with a good product that cuts the fuel oil off the metal first.
I like additives that add lubricity but also clean and raise cetane. My two cents better money spent. On the 915 I just got first thing I did was to add the whole bottle that treats 250 gallons to my full 80 gallon tank. I treat as recommended now per gallon.
A sticking fuel control is not a good thing that is why when I shut down the engine I leave the cut off pulled out. If it's going to stick better stick in no fuel position that wide open. As said above don't think adding anything will help other than opening it up.
Well when the transmission fluid is up to temps try a full peddle run up. The motor has a governor so you won't hurt that and that Allison will handle just about anything you can throw at it. I don't know what transmission is in there so I ask you is it the computer or transmission governor that...
Thinking about it I would hate have to disassemble a truck and put it back together. My truck has all new air lines and frame wiring and to only have two air lines crossed is not that bad. Once I put down the TM's and used my head I found the problem and fixed it in less than an hour. Thanks
Easy no and almost loosing one mind not good. The TM's that showed the air line were no help. Just stopped crying and retraced the line from the trailer service to the additional valve on the treadle valve. As said after inspection of it something just did not seem right the way it is set up.
Sorry I had to correct my post#3 now it reads air from treadle and not emergency glad hand.
I am so glad they only mixed up two lines. Wonder if I could get a job fixing up what they mess up at Red River.
I stopped crying long enough to try again for the third day of chasing down air lines. I can't believe I found it. I switched these to lines and I now have service air to trailer. This valve controls the trailer service air and it has a free sliding gravity piston that shuts off the air. I took...
Need a what did you do to your 915 today.
Today I ordered all new slack adjusters for the 915. Dang military had the wrong slack adjusters on four of the wheels and two were FUBAR. Also had to order the two washers and one retaining C clip that held on the drivers side slack adjuster because...
