How best to power/wire a 2 HP Hydraulic Pump to my M1009?

:ditto: I have a compressor with electric start wired in and all the other work trucks have transfer pumps wired in as well and they all run just fine for 20 mins or so with the engine off

Yeah something just dont sound right. Maybe you got some dirt in there. It happened to our 96 Caviler after it blew the first trans about 50 miles out of warranty. They did not clean it out too well and missed some dirt or something. It blew up with in 10 miles. Needless to say, they...

    CUCV Detonation? - Knocking Noise

Check your oil level. I have a leak on my work truck, and when it gets a little low she starts knocking like there is something in the cylinder and its about 2 quarts low. Also run 1 oz per gallon (of diesel fuel) of auto trans fluid (injector cleaner), 2 stroke marine oil (lube), and...

Congrats on 12,000 Posts Mr. Head! A great day for no one. So I gather you do not know how to double clutch. Neutral Gear with a clutch engagement to and from neutral. Pretty simple. Just match your RPMs, and if you can do that you can float them too. But dont, Be easy on that tranny...

    hydraulic oil

What number though? The higher the number the thicker it is. I would suspect you would be okay at less than 65 or so, even that is kinda thick.

    Do I really want a M1009? (MPG)

I think most of the guys on here report around 18-20 on the highway with the 09. Even in those mountains you should get at least 15 unless you have some kind of bad problem, or REALLY heavy foot.

Did you do the syncros? I know my work truck has bad syncros in ALL the gears. Have you tried double clutching and matching the RPMs perfectly?

Yeah I have not seen anything or heard anything from him since he got his jeep. Gotta pay off the new car I guess. Well if I ever get the money, I'd buy it from you in a heart beat. I am trying to get a sensible car right now though. And with the price of diesel, she would sit even more.
