If you like a Good radio the Galaxy series is a good radio but are a bit pricey !! As said above the Cobra radios are a Good and Dependable series of radio. Any of the Wilson brand antennas are good . Some of the best antennas are just a plane stainless steel whip antenna about 110" long ...
Also the M39 Series Multifueler has the starter on the opposite side then the Duece it is the same engine as the Duece with slighty more HP . Or the M54A1 had the Mack END Engine the M54 and M52's had the direct drive transmission but had the Overdrive trans installed later. But both 5 ton...
With as much equipment they have there and as busy as they are I would not think they would do a civilian truck for any reason .. There is to much urgency for equipment overseas .
Although that it is a Good idea . !! It would be nice for a place to work on civilian trucks ??
You might conside looking into a M917 if you want a dump truck it is the same chassis , motor and trans conbination as the M915 !! And it has the tag axle already on it if you get on the hwy to help with your loaded weight .
I mounted my Cb to a bracket on the top rail and center post of my windsheild frame so that is does nopt get the dust in it from the floor. photo to follow
Guess # 1 the second seat is for the ground crew , and wing walkers or Guess #2 is for the driver to change seats to change the direction you were driving in. These are my guess
Glad to hear that your trailer unloaded OK !! Are those photos of your 5th wheel in your first post ?? If it is I would recommend to put 2 tubes of grease on the face of the wheel , but also put a little extra on the lower side of the face neaar the 2 legs and then slowly back under your trailer...

Rumplecat if your trailer will set uneven to will need to shore up one side or ther other so the trailer will set flat !! Just make sure as you come out from underneith go slow because moving out to the side does cause the trailer to slide a bit to the opposite direction from the tractor ...
You can save some cash and use DOT 3 Brake Fluids there is no reason that you cannot use that and it is a better fluid I think to use !! It absorbs the water in the brake system and the DOT5 does not and all the crap settels in the wheel cylinders with the DOT 5 . Just flush out your brake...
Here at Tinker AFB there are two of those tugs and they have been converted into mobile Blast fences . They have filled the cabs wth concrete and tow them around the ramp to the engine run areas. The tugs are named Big Moe and Little Joe !! I will try and get photos when I see them again
