I had planned to make this recovery a guy thing. Me and a buddy were to head down to Topeka with my pickup loaded with all the recovery goodies but it didn't work out that way. Buddy cancells, ( AWE MAN! ) now I have to take the wife and she can't go on Thursday so I have to wait one more day...

I just drove one 350 miles from Topeka. Go check it out and drive it if you can, if not you can always arrange a haul. That truck looks pretty good and if it was driven in you can most likely drive it out, and remember getting it rolling is NOT what is important, STOPPING is so bring some DOT...

Oh I've seen HQ HQ and also HHC for Headquarters Headquarters company so I am guessing your truck was #6 in the HQ. I went USMC so I'm not real familiar with army markings.

Welcome Charles, If you have a chance to get a gasser deuce I'd go for it. Learning the diff. between the gas and multi fuel is interesting and I'm sure you would like the gasser just as well, if not better (except the fuel mileage). Again welcome aboard.
