Pulled out the two batteries that my charger said had an open circuit short and just hooked up the other two batteries in series. flipped the battery switch and volt gauge popped up in the yellow, hit the starter switch and it started right up. Truck has two solargizers wired in it now I am...
My battery charger says two of them have an internal short and wont take a charge so i guess they are going to get replaced. I will try to put two other in from another truck just to be sure, but I think i will just run two batterys in it
All terminals on starter and batterys are very clean and tight, it fires right up if the slave cable is hooked up, just wont even attempt if not hooked up
Hey all, Got a M923a2 in great shape the other day RRAD rebuild in 1-07 and has 420 hrs since rebuild. Problem is it wont start on its own with out Slave cable. Batteries are all 09's, i know they are old but 2 of them have over 12 volts on em and the other 2 have 10.7 volts. truck has a...
Juan, did you flush your tranny yourself or have it done before going with dextron. Mine has motor oil in it and I was thinking about changing it although it shifts just fine
I run Amsoil in every civilian vehicle we have, we have put well over 500,000 miles on our diesel trucks had Ford,Chevy and Dodge. We run 10,000 miles then do a filter change top off the oil usually a quart and run another 10,000 before a total oil and filter change. Never had any engine issues...
I have a M931a2 its new to me and have run it a couple of times but the fan clutch has never engauged. I have kept a close eye on the temp gauge and it hasent gotten over 200 degrees yet, but I would have thought the fan would have engauged by that temp. I have looked through the TM's but could...
NDT, yes in '08. I had both of mine hauled for $1200.00, which i thought was very reasonable. I am thinking about driving the 923a2 back i got last week but man that would be a long 335 miles even if everything went perfect. IDK yet what im going to do
They arrived and are in excellent shape. Both start right up new batteries, solorgizer already installed, full tank of fuel (appears to be fresh), CTIS works. First 900 series trucks ive bought, gotta say the auto transmission is awsome.
May have just been sitting for a very long time, I had two flat tires on my M931a2 when it was picked up last week. CTIS system filled them up and have held air ever since. Alot of these trucks sit for a year or better.
