PROPANE
a few years back we built an 80's suburban with a small block and specd the engine for propane.
hi comp pistons. decked the block and heads, new valves, big cam, headers.
by the time it was all said and done the compression was up around 13 to1.
propane has the advantages of having 115-120...
henderson wheel has them...but you wont like the price.
http://www.hendersonwheel.com/
flange= f1020m $148.24 ea
lock ring=lr20m $64.07 ea
hope this helps
would you sell me one wheel?
i need a spare.
thanks.
THERE WAS AN INTERESTING TIDBIT OF INFO IN THAT TM.
the bridge truck is the only truck with 56" rear axle spacing.
if u want 16r20's thats the suspension for you.
glad to hear you're ok after that.kinda makes me think twice about combining m35 axles and 16r20's...all that extra weight might not be a good thing.and ummm...just how fast were you going?
thats one heck of a faliure with no load.
is there any indication of previous damage or an old crack?
it...
with the starter removed, check the shaft that the pinion rides on for side play.too much is bad news.
under load, the rotor will eventually rub on the stator causing internal damage and slow operation, but will still spin in a bench test.re-bush it and you'll win i think.
good luck :turn:
increasing the compression ratio is the wrong way to go if you want to make power with a turbo.also milling also decreases the thickness of the deck surface of the head allowing a greater chance of warpage and loss of head gasket sealing.you need to pick one or the other.if you want to go the...
YEP IT WAS FIRST BLOOD.
i used to live a couple of miles from where it was filmed.
the deuce was supposed to crash through the police barricade and push the cruisers out of the way.but the stunt co-ordinators underestimated the deuce and when they went for it it launched the truck.scared the...
could you imagine a 6602 with a 100hp shot of NOS/fuel injected at each intake runner? :freaked:
there are some pretty good affordable digital injection controllers on the market now.i've seen guys race with insane amounts of boost funnelled through home built intake manifolds made from...
a juice brake setup isnt even close to the same league as a full air system(especially the L75 off road
system).we need the nitty gritty on the FULL AIR change over.my 57 chev uses a bendix hydro boost from a ford f700.it has front loaded rockwells front and rear with 2 wheel cylinders per...
with a detroit you have twice as many power strokes per revolution as compared to a 4 stroke.so the relationship between power and cubic inches is different.this allows for the same brake hp from a lighter more compact engine(less cubes).the weak link is the blower in my opinion.i've been toying...
i love a detroit under my boot.if you're going to the trouble to do a swap, consider bartering your 4-53n?is it turbocharged or no?for a 4-53 "silver".they came in ottowa yard or "shunt" tractors.among other things.
the silver series engines had 4 valve heads and BYPASS BLOWERS.this is critical...
YEAH, THE MACK HAS IT ALL IN ONE UNIT.AIR OVER JUICE TO THE FRONTS,FULL AIR TO THE REAR....NO THINKING REQUIRED. :banghead: THE ONLY HITCH IS THE METRIC FITTINGS....
