Here are the general plans for the rear of the truck. I am going to pull the interior sheet metal out and clean up all of the rust on the outer metal. There are only two places with real rust issues. I have a small flat panel TV and a dvd player for that. I am thinking about converting a...
Here is a small piece of the cloth. It is a very tight weave, nylon cloth. I can drop this piece in the mail if you want to take a look. If you think it will work how big of a piece do you need? This as you can see is the pelt from the extremely rare and endangered giant squirrel. :D Could...
Dan,
I can part with some of the material. This is not the old style canvas but more of a nylon fabric. I will take a snap shot of it and post here later tongiht.
I am looking for a replacement for this pipe coming off of the turbo and into the flex tube. I borrowed this photo from an earlier thread as it seems that my search skills are sadly lacking. Was looking at mine and found that it had rusted through on the back and was leaking exhaust into the cab.
You will also want a good sized extension if you go with the breaker bar. I have two of the sockets from Houdel and they are great to use. I use a 3/4 drive ratchet with a 16" extension for the socket. You probably are going to want a cheater bar also to increase the leverage on the breaker...
I was chatting with one of my neighbors today and found some interesting information. He runs a business that builds custom agricultural equipment and recently relocated to Florida to start a South Eastern branch. His first shop is in Northern California and he has quite a few bodies out back...
RE: Re: RE: Nice mail
Most of my neighbors are cool about the truck, but I do keep it at my folks just down the road most of the time. Most of the time all I see are blank stares of people who have no clue what I am driving. Many of my coworkers and my wife's coworkers are amazed that she...
Just won an M105 trailer out of Fort Meade as one of them just called out to me. Why can I just not bid on things close to home!! :D I plan to l run the I-95 corridor up and back so if anyone has things to move let me know. If I have enough to move I will take the deuce or just my Ford...
Are they starting to catch up? GL received my paper work for the SF97 on April 11 and in the mail today I received a copy of a title transfer form and the other two forms required by Florida to issue me a title. It went back in the mail at the main Tampa post office tonight so they will have...
RE: Duece + Shelter = Camper RV
If you have any more with those 109s in them could you PM them to me? I am thinking about doing an a/c unit to mine and it is nice to see that "Yes the Army did put A/C" is a legit answer for all of the nit pickers in the world. That or a road trip to Cali...
RE: Duece + Shelter = Camper RV
Could save some time and buy one of those M109s behind the shelter and you are ready to go. Looks like the unit that owned them already put an a/c unit on the rear. Hmmm, maybe I need two.
Let me know when you get close to the time for your pick up. I have family in St. Augustine and could use an excuse to go up and visit. I could help you get one home as a driver if you can get the temp tags. Find out what the Jax folks say about it if you have a tag and what you tax...
Now I know who won a couple of vehicles I was looking at this week. Now that I have the M109 I keep finding uses for an M35 and my folks who live in the same part of Tampa have volunteered to let me park mine and another one or two at their home. Due to my usual good luck the DSL line went...
I go see them fly every time they are in my area. I went with my son this past September to the "Gathering of Mustangs and Legends" at Rickenbacker Field in Columbus, Ohio. They had about100 Mustangs there along with B 17s, B 25s, a Lancaster and a whole host of other fighters and MVs. They...
SF 97 request submitted and " in process" with GL on April 11. I figure that I now have a good portion of the summer to get all of the little things taken care of on my M109. A 60 day turn around hits in early June and 120 puts me in August. Of course there are some nice M35s coming up for...
