Maybe there should be a "Life" section. Since we here at SS are a family, we should be able to answer questions regarding life as we know it. Like the conversation section, but having nothing to do with MV, but being blocked for non members. I think it should be a viable option on the table.
Besides keeping them cool, adding more air and fuel, there is not a lot you can do to make tons of power. And I would not either. They are big and slow, and are supposed to be.
I dont know it all, by any means, but I though I remember reading that starting off in 2nd with the spicer was a bad idea. Always first and always double clutch between first and second. I could be wrong though
Im not into the whole chrome thing, mainly because I dont want to be spotted, but that was one **** of a resto job. Thats how it should be done on the underside. Great Job for a Great Cause.
Maybe there is a blockage. Like a rock in the line, how it got there I do not know. If It were me, I would drain the whole thing out, and rebuild the pump. If that dose not work, maybe someone else can help. Also make sure the lines go to the right places. Here is an idea, switch lines from...
Im thinking for AC, a cheap small window unit, with a step up form 24 to 120. That should be easy, the question with that though is the amps. Thats just another though for a cheap fix.
Its just a thought. Maybe you could rig up some 6x6 steering for it. I know they have kits for 4x4 steering, so it should not be too hard to add an axle for it. Its just money, I'll make more.
Don't know if this compairs too well, but it is a 10 bolt. Uncle has a 98 GMC C1500 WT, that he moded, with a 350/290 and a bunch of parts. Also put in a 5 Speed. He broke the axel, in 23K miles of driving. To be honest I dont know how many miles are on the axel, or the truck as a whole, but...
