Guys,
I have a truck that starts and runs ok, but has a slight miss. The #1 cylinder appears to be the culprit, checked exhaust manifold with IR thermometer. During my investigation I felt all the injector lines coming from the IP, #1 feels like someone is tapping on it with a hammer at the...
Well, I turned my fuel up going through the nonexistent hole in the side of the pump, I think it was a 1/4 inch wrench I used to remove the plug/cover so I could access the allen, and then turned it clockwise. This was on an 86 M1008
Sometimes, (most times for me) That handy dandy 1/4" plug won't budge. . .
Plus, I like having the probe seeing 3 cylinder temps, versus 1.

Everyone has an opinion on this, mine is, if it comes from GSA there is no such restriction, nor is there any paperwork restricting sale. I have a 1028A3 from GSA, and the only paperwork I needed was the SF97, which I received when I picked up the truck.

An open end crows foot will not work either, no room to swing it, so I made this after Clinto told me about the Gov'mt tool that breaks shortly after the first use.
Do you have all the plumbing to intall the airshift case?, there's more to it than just the case. Take the pto off first, and put the block plate off your old case on the new one. Other than doing a complete tear down/inspection, your gonna have to hope it's a good case, but, yes checking for...
Oops. . .
If you can't find one locally, I have one from a blown motor. I'm assuming you didn't damage the pump itself?, just the housing that bolts on the front of the motor?
