For the stack you can cut down the stack to be just a tall as the cab and you will be able to get it into your garage or turn the "J" pipe down and run the exhaust under the cab and out the back !! And Oh by the Way Great looking Truck !! Mine will look like that one day just have to get out...
Well I think that the 3rd Annual Holiday Convoy and Norman Christmas Parade went quite well !! I had a Good time and it was nice to see everyone again this year !! I am looking to the naxt get together Take Care All and have a Happy Holiday Season !!
Something to consider is looking into getting a bed locally around where you get the truck and installing a bed before your trip that would also help with your ride home
Just look for a Pneumatic/Hydraulic tire bead breaker , it is a nice little unit that will work off of the truck air supply and they do show up on GL in a tire and or hand tool lots every once in a while !!

As a M813A1 owner I will tell you that the 1400 R 20's will suck the power out of the NHC 250 Cummins !! My truck would make 63 mph on the road empty but when I had it loaded or was pulling an loaded trailer !! I would recommend a 395 or a 1200R 20 tire that way you will have enough speed...
I like our idea !! Just be very careful and keep an eye on your frame because the M818 or M52 tractors have a heavier frame then your M54 does !! So you will have to watch to make sure no cracks show up in the frame !! Good Luck with your project !!!
All the parts should interchange except for the Engine, Hood , Front fenders and Front panels. The chassis and the running gear
are all the same and will interchange to include the Transfer Case, Axles, Fuel tanks, Cab and Dump Bed Assy
Make sure you have the smaller 18 inch M809 Steering wheel, if you have the older Duece and M39 5 Ton steering wheel they have a larger diameter and it can fit on the M809 steering column
