I fired up my mep002a that came from WPAFB, picked it up on Monday, runs great, had new oil and full of fuel, any thoughts on a little problem, showed putting out 60 hrz once, then nothing, did not matter where the rpm was set. will check the tm when I have more time, thanks.

I forgot about using the impact, will use the starter, thanks for the help.

Sounds like a parts engine.

no need gimp, got mine, slave cabel will not help us, was going to turn it over with my impact to check oil pressure.

What direction should I rotate the engine, it is the engine only, trying to see if it will have oil pressure, I am standing looking at the ring gear, injection pump on the right. would I spin it to the right?

Crusher is working that out being the engineer that he is.

I am bringing a 100 foot parachute to haspin for shade for the group, Crusher has the flag pole that will support the chute. it will provide protection for a lot of people, it will be given to the person who travels the most distance to get to haspin.

Use a pressure bleeder, bleed airpack first, then work your way from the back to the front, I have done this on many trucks and works great, also use less dot 5.

2000-3000 for a decent truck, 4500 for a decent winch truck, 4500-8000 for a truck that has it all, go private if you do not have the ability to deal with the recovery and GL.

Sounds like glow plugs, go thru the entire gp system, these trucks wont start without glow plugs on a 90 gegree day.
