it is a new starter, not a 6.5 starter, weighs about 12 pounds, came from my rebuild guy in Lancaster, cost 200.00, but it is a good one.

I am using a gear reduction starter, about half the weight of the stock starter, anybody know if you need the bracket on this starter?

Friday night, same problem, I knew how to remove the relay, took about 60 seconds to find it in the dark, still fried the cellonoid, one week old gear reduction starter, took it back and told my rebuilder what happeded, he had a new one overnight for me to pick up on tuesday, that is why he gets...

I thought the pictures might help, the old piece has a c clip, it looks like on your new regulator, the clip holds the clutch down.

both models were the same 4-6 psi, I was thinking in was the makeup of the seals, but gas is harder on some seals than diesel, I think it hs a 90 day warranty, better take it back. when I say both models, I checked and they sell one for diesel, 20 bucks more.:-)

I had to replace the electric fuel pump, yes I did the swap, the first pump was junk, had to get one fast, all they had was a mr gasket 12s, said on the package, not for diesel, seems to work fine, what in this pump would prevent it from being used with diesel?

Could be your lift pump, 29.00 for a replacement. is the IP leaking?
