I am replacing the front seal due to a leak, found the stepxstep, that is a big help, located the front seal in the old fourm, but only one is listed, national 471463,or cr 18972, is this the seal?. If this is the inner seal, what number is the outer dust seal? Or is the outer dust seal the same...

The search gave me some help, but not enough. Finished the steering kit on my deuce, the regulator has air escaping out the bottom, it sems to do this until the pressure reaches 60, I know this regulator can be removed, has any one removed it and seen a difference?

I put Gimps stuff back as found, I put Docs tools back, clean as found, Gimp is it china or what?

I had a problem with my m1009, slow and steady did the job, turned out the military ran it dry and it set for who knows how long. When I got fuel at the injectors it still would not fire, used wd 40 and it caught, that was all it took, drove it to haspin and got 26.5 mpg.:-P

why not use my 20 micron filter two start with, Gimp has some and likes them, 1 buck each, I have many.

You will love it, it is a truck that was designed many moons ago, very simple, low power, it is all in the gears. The deuce will slow you down and make you take your time.

I can throw in a fuel tank from a deuce, has the pump, but do not know if the pump is good,best to assume it is bad. The tank has a pin hole in the bottom, I have not looked for it but the leak was very slow, you can have the tank for 20.00 if that works.
