I have started a lot of different 5 ton trucks that have sat, good batteries and ether after the motor is rolling over, if all is correct under the hood, 250 cummins has to have good turn over speed, period.

I changed my injection pump, now the tranny shifts so smooth, you can not tell when it shifts, go figure.

I just changed the pump and injectors on my 1009, it rattles hard under acceleration, is sound fine at constant speed, I run two stroke oil in the fuel, it does have a lot more power now. I am thinking the rattle is from the new pump and injectors.

no smoke at all, idles sounds good, I will change the timeing and see if that helps.

I have a problem, replaced the IP and injectors last night, got it running, has a hesitation off idle, stalls after bringing the rpms up, do not believe there is any air problems, old pump was set 3/16 to the right on the timeing marks, I set this one dead on, could the timeing cause this...

A little help with a recent purchase, Wrench, wheel stud nut, geared socket nsn 5120003784411 I could not come up with any info with the nsn, will have 47 of these, hope they are what I think they are.
