Actually ownership and possession are two entirely different things. The DOD 1033 program allows qualified agencies to possess certain surplus DOD equipment, according to the terms of the DOD 1033 program. All equipment under this program is basically loaned to the receiving agency and must...
The winch is PTO pump driven and the steering has a belt driven pump. The steering gear info is from the service manual, p12 in the 'Tabulated Data' section
Thanks Jeff. I'm not using the hydraulic winch on this one but I am curious what pressures/volumes are needed for the steering so I can see if I can match the capabilities of the pump with another pump, which hopefully will also match what I need to operate the F550 hydrobooster.
Does anyone know what pressure the hydraulic circuit for power steering and the winch runs at on the V100? I'm trying to see if the pump mounted on the 2006 5.9 cummins will work for this.
Installed the first brackets for the crew seating. Trying to get as much of the cutting and welding done as possible before abrasive blasting is done. Removing all unused weldments from the interior as I go.
Starting on the interior panels now. There are plenty of angles to deal with along with making the diamond pattern not only run horizontal, but also have proper timing between the panel sections so that it all looks like one piece. The driveshaft tunnel was cut and realigned since...

Not to worry, there's...
The trucking guy hauls a lot of things for the museum for reduced rates. He was coming back from N.C. empty and swung by here :-D
Thanks Bill, look forward to having you stop by again soon 8)
True about moving...the local wrecker company cuts me a really good deal so they can be seen with my machines on their truck. Sometimes they've been known to take the long way around when they are hauling for me. As for inexpensive though...:-P
Here's the last picture taken of the Eddie Black restoration just before it left for Houston Texas, where it will be displayed at the military museum there.
Wow Len I sure hate to hear this, especially considering the trouble you went through just to make the display possible. There are some slime balls out there for sure, and I hope you can get some resolve to this situation. I know I certainly have my own brand of dealing with this kind of thing...
Im needing a couple wheels for my hummer. The kind I am looking for were made by Hutchinson and are commonly called 'H1 Alpha 2 piece rims' Evidently Hutchinson made about three different variants of this wheel. Two of the three could easily be made to look alike, where the third had larger...
