Just got my parts in from Ouverson Engineering...this stuff was packed securely and I'm very pleased with the appearance and attention to detail.

I have both axle housings stripped bare...I guess I'll cut the rivets tomorrow on the stock brake backing plates because I kinda like that bolt on setup

Here's the axles and my sons stripping them down so we can rebuild and upgrade them. Among the modifications are larger axles, disc brakes and lockouts.

I know what you mean A/C...but they're more affordable if you do them yourself:-P I thought I'd see how this machine would look as a low rider...:shock: Seriously though, this temporary addition will make it possible for me to move it around while the drive axles are being upgraded and rebuilt.

Here's what we've done on the fuel fill doors

Here's the later model AFV seats installed in the forward position of this project. These are much more comfortable than the originals and look better too 8)

I fabricated and installed these fuel level sender mounting rings on both tanks so I could get rid of the stock plastic sight tubes...it's a heck of a place to have to weld in, so I had to use a mirror to weld the areas out of my direct line of sight. Trying to get all the cutting and welding...
