I bet that 427 does sound good! The 6.0L (366ci) is the largest we've put in a M114, and we just about had to stomp it in at that :twisted:

I've done a lot more extreme drifting than was on the video. If I had known they were filming when I came on the asphalt, I would have really laid it out :twisted:

I made some new rings for the locking hubs that will serve as steps. There are two additional rings cut from 1/8" stainless steel that are spaced 5/16" apart that go directly behind this one. This will keep the anodizing from being rubbed off when folks stand on the hubs to access the driver's...

We fabricated the last of the seat mounts, this one being for the gunner's position. The seat is an extra that we used for reference.

I dropped the seat cushions off today at the upholstery shop and got my first look at the design for the seats. This is only the side facing the body, but you get the idea of how it will look.

Here's the shields for the tail light assemblies that have been modified to accept a Whelen TIR3 LED. There will be another mounted to the tail light assembly as well.

Three of the V150s that's been through my shop has no access to the rear. The Detroit/Allison conversion pretty much eats up the rear now. Care to elaborate on that? Every V100 and V150 I've seen squats a bit on the left side. I'm not aware of a different part number for leaf springs from one...

Yes, the v100s and v150s are heavy on that side. Next time you see one, you may notice that it will lean to the left. I put heavier leaf springs on that side to level it back out on the vehicles I rework.

Here's a shot after we modified the air conditioning and heating unit to fit on the back wall. Had to shorten the top by 1-1/4" and relocate the condensate drain on the bottom. Another last minute mod was to split the transfer case cover so we wouldn't need to go through an act of congress to...

Thank you! Here we are fitting the last of the engine compartment covers. This is also the area that the air conditioning and heating for the crew compartment will be mounted.

Here’s the back side of the cover for the low frequency speakers just below the winch. The brackets will allow four LEDs to be recessed for that “clean look” The whole thing will be sandblasted and powder coated prior to assembly

Thank you, and you are correct...they are light bar support legs 8-) Here's the latest add-on...a roller tipped Micro Switch mounted to the transfer case that will be used to power up LEDs on the dash in order to show 2WD and 4WD positions. It's probably a good thing to be sure about before...
