No I haven't yet. But I did manage to pick it up today. So yet another MV in the fleet.
Headed out with the M1008 with a trailer to pick it up.
And stopped by a store for my son along the way. The trip was only about 40 minutes there and 40 back. Uneventful for the most part.
That is...
I believe I've heard that as well. If memory serves it hasn't been ran either since there's no replacement parts. (I might be wrong, but I want to say that was mentioned)

Digging deeper into this, it looks like the loader/backhoe uses this same transmission.

And given the post over there, it looks like it would only work while moving for the 3pt lift.
I'm interested in it for the military aspect of...
I went and looked at it this afternoon. I actually own a MF 40 industrial tractor. There's a lot of similarity between them. But the transmission is the big difference. There's a torque converter where the clutch would be. And the peddles are completely different/wrong side.
There's...

Sort of related, but not exactly. I've used oak to shim/level the lathes and mills in my shop. (The concrete is a slope and no way smooth) While they're not subjected to the same amount of abuse, they certainly have thousands of pounds on them. And honestly they're subjected to water and oil...

Trying to steer this back into topic because it's starting to creep again. I can see the covid-19 being an excuse still. But not from a infection/precaution standpoint. More from the no one to work perspective. MANY small mom and pop businesses out here where I live (in the middle of...

Congrats microjeep.
We miss you. :( I drove by a place we met up a few year ago in Kennesaw, GA. He was getting fitted for a tuxedo that day for a wedding. I was thinking about him this afternoon.
