Identify Air Force M35 brake systems

Without even seeing the said truck, if the VIN starts with 87k.... 88k.... 89k.... it has the split brake system. Now this only applies to USAF contract trucks. The late model Army trucks with split brake system need a visual or it's a true 1987-1989 then you're golden. From my knowledge, Army...

WSUCougarx's M561 Gama Goat Acquisition and Build Thread

Thanks, it's probably going to be my slowest build thread to date. I've got to pay off the recovery expenses first and then work on the mechanical items first. Want to go through this entire vehicle before I start on cosmetic type stuff (ie:bearing repacked, brakes, steering, bushings....) It...

Be safe when working on Your truck.

I hear you on that. I've slipped off my deuce's step and landed on the ground a few times. The most sobering on was I was standing on the bumper and stretched my leg to go on the fender. My rear foot on the bumper slipped and well...my crotch got a bit painful. Be careful out there.

WSUCougarx's M561 Gama Goat Acquisition and Build Thread

Just like all my build threads, there will be plenty of pictures and explanations of what I did. A thread wouldn't be complete without the recovery story...right? Here's the exhaustive version. Before the recovery... For sometime, I have thought about the potential of owning ones of these...

Too quick on the "bid now" button??

I'm thinking the spider harness supplying the gauges power got disconnected. Unusual for all the gauges to not work. Something simple is causing them not to work.

    PNW Info Thread!

House rules are house rules. I don't challenge anyone's rules when I'm in their house. This site is no different. It is what it is. Learn the rules and follow them. The mods are just doing their job. Couldn't imagine this site with all us salty Veterans in here just doing our own thing..... Ha-ha.
