I havent been posting much lately because we have been so BUSY!!! Alot of bob deuce work lately. Finished 2 this week, have one in the shop now, and have a couple more lined up after that!
Also, just got a load of the HEMMT wheels in--- working on getting them recentered for the Deuce. Hoping...
I bought 27 pallets of the 10 lug wheels out of OH this week. When I get them here, I will be working on getting them re-centered for the Deuce 6 lug. I havent even seen one of these rims in person, but I want to figure out how they can be adapted. I will update when I have something going on...
Thats a good looking trailer for that price!!! Some of the trailers can be really bent up and rusty--- looks like you scored a good one!
I have several nice ones in Lucerne Valley if that is closer for anyone.
Hey DUG- It was great to meet you, and a pleasure to do business with ya!
Glad everything went well and you got home safe-
The truck looks great!:smile::-D
Thanks!
HUNDY
Great!
I think they were confused about exactly which wheel it was.
Thanks! Waiting for pics!
Now I am wondering if I am going to have flip my hubs. I dont think so. I'll get a tire on a wheel and see how it looks.
I had heard from a couple of people that the centers on the 10 lug wheels coming out of OK were too small to fit the 5 tons.......Can anyone confirm or deny for sure???
I went ahead and got a set of 2 piece bolt together (Different from the OK wheels) 5ton wheels today for my 16.00-20 XZLs...
This is the first time that I have run the dish out and not flipped the hubs. It actually came out better than I thought it would! I probably will not flip these.
Plus, it saves me a alot of work!!!
I have thought about the stenciling several times--- its a great idea! But I have not done it yet. Seems like everytime I start thinking about doing it, the truck sells!!! Things have been BUSY around here lately---- selling trucks, trailers, and LOTS of tires!
I did just get a nice 5 ton...
Thx-
I have driven the truck at 60mph for about 20 minutes--- no rub that I know of. There is about 1.5" clearance at rest with 60 psi. I am going to take the air pressure down a bit--- maybe 40 psi.
I tell people that the best quality of all my big tires is the PRICE! LOL!
I have no problem with any of them.
The 395 (46") is the biggest you can put on a 6 wheeled truck. If you bob it, you can run 14.00s pretty easily, and 16.00s with a little modding.
