Not advisable. Those snake oil products sound really good but you don't get the whole story. These products chemically degrade rubber seals by softening and swelling them. You may find for a short time it could help stop a leak but that is only for a short time.
When a rubber seal is altered...
Two relatively inexpensive flooded 6TL batteries of the same potential is far more desirable then adding one new battery to an old one and chasing gremlins.
Believe me I get proper voltage and capacity testing but few here have the knowledge or equipment to take on that technical task and why...
Juse remember the fuse stops power going further but not before the fuse. If the fuse is at the charger and it shorts before that an old term comes to mind. Release the kraken! Lol

Check the tranny mount. Getting on and off the throttle can cause a thump if the tranny mount is gone. No, these trucks shouldn't have that kind of sound but the good folks at AM General have gifted us with a plethora of rhythmic and tantalizing sounds to enjoy.

Dual batteries require batteries of the same age and potential and preferably share the same lot numbers. Differing batteries in a Dual (or more) system will cause one of the batteries to be over charged and the other to be under charged. Causes nothing but problems. Think of it as one giant...

Use the Rotella T4 15/40. Don't use synthetic oil in the truck. Get whatever "Fuel" out of the tank and start with some clean diesel. I suspect as others do that rig has been sitting for a very long time. What shape are the tires in? Keep us posted.

Very good point!! Could also be considered artwork or a memorial display for our brave soldiers.
Could be used as a lighting rod to help protect the family homestead from the storms. Could also be a work in progress to encircle the family home from Indian attack.
