Well, it's Grant, but no, they're not going on the grocery getter or the stroller. :) He's going to have to wait a while before I build a truck for him!
I got a set of 4 12-bolt radial HMMWV rims and 36x12.50 tires and 2 20-bolt 5-ton rims with 395/85R20's (my avatar). I plan to use the 5-ton rims and sell the humvee rims. I just need to find 4 more FMTV rims.
Even worse is with a tank 1/2 empty. I used to work for a oil service company and we were always hauling water and drip gas away from locations. It really gets interesting when you have 500 gallons in a 1000 gallon tank and it gets to sloshing. It can change the center of gravity in an instant.
Oh, come on David. I'll give you a file and a breaker bar for your trouble :)

Mine were the A2 type, obviously. I did the first one myself. Once I was satisfied that I could do it, I took the next one to the tire shop and paid someone else to do it. Watching the tire guy do was much more satisfying that doing it myself :) The A2 o-rings come out looking like...
I cut mine out the same week I got it and replaced it with a Furd starter solenoid mounted on the inner fender. It worked for 10 years plus without a hitch.
Mark, if you just would have hit that lotto!
Ted, thanks. He's gonna need a truck-load of Pampers before he's done ;)
David, he'll definitely be getting his first MV at a young age. Whenever he's old enough to hold a wrench!
Mike, sure, what do you need, like 4 or 5?
