Hippie, I think there out west.............there are plenty of them here in NewEngland. There was one on ebay here in VT not long ago, it went cheap. I will keep an eye out for you.

I have the long one on my Mutt and I cant tighten it down to lock it from spinning. I will look at it again tomorrow to see if i need a shorter one, then this one will need to go! BTW its NOS

Wow i phrased that badly. What DD posted above is right. With my deuces, all 3 had the compensator still installed. I often considered taking them out myself since thats all I ran was diesel. I made sure that when I checked and changed the oil that it looked ok.

Govt came out and took the density compensators off the pump. they would then stick a decal on the motor saying diesel fuel only. so no there is nothing wrong if your going to run just diesel, just no car gas like a true multifuel. it just does not have the option any more.

Mine runs great and its really too bad but hopefully in the spring I will pick up a engine that will be given to me. Mine will eventually have a ENDT-673.

Supposidly if you take off the Holly carb and put on the redesigned replacement carb that it could possibly get 4mpg.[thumbzup]
