    The Spanish Built ME-109 with the RR merlin engine. The spanish also built the HE-111 bomber using the same engines.

    Roger has it right, The vid clip is not red 7, that was another ME-109.

    Think they had 4 or 5 for filming the Memphis Belle movie. I do know that we lost one on take off. No injuries but the footage of the B-17 in the begining that cant get the gear down and that quick shot of it before it blows up while its burning is actual footage of the crashed B-17...

    Different B-25 that he is talking about. The one out of lake murry is a Early C and very rare (same as doolittle raiders) but this one had the ever rarer Bendix bottom turret. The B-25 that he is talking about was pulled out long ago. Just glad to see it indoors.

    The only other data numbers other than data plates are the Budd plate, that is located under the hood on the firewall right behind the valve cover. Tho it may not be there, some are known to be missing. Post some pics when you get a chance. You may need to pull the trans cover...
