Papabear, there was a time I could have hung with them. Now it hurts to much and takes to long to recover. But I do love to watch the young'ns gittin thar larning. And one day as my elders said to me I can say, see, I told you you would pay for that someday.:)
Mahala, theres no way I am riding with you!!!! You made my old bones ach just watching you attack that hill. I will be more than happy to lead you to the mountain like last year and then just watch you have fun.
Hey, you guys saw Mahila's vidioe but you did not see her try to launch her Duece into outer space on a very steep incline in the woods:shock:. She convinced me a Duece will not tip over backwards, but I still will not try it!!! And was one attemp enough, NO, she had to try it at least 10...
Ask them how they would feel if every retired Dog that left the military was put down. You are providing a home and loving care for a retired Military Vehicle that served its time protecting the freedom of everyone in your neighborhood. They should be giving you donations to help feed the beast.
This works good for us. Heat the bolt heads to red, then pour cold water on it. Try it and see if it is loose, if not do it again. The shock of expansion with heat and then the contraction of rapid cooling usually will free anything up.
Its pretty straight forward. Hone it and make sure it looks slick on the inside. If its had silicon fluid all its life it will probably clean up nice. Check the small holes in the bottom to be sure they are open. Lots of times these return ports are blocked and that is waht makes the brakes...
I had this experience with my 1 ton Chevy dually pick-up. A couple years ago the waterpump went out and I ran the truck hot. Replaced the pump and the temp guage never worked right again. It would run up to 260 degrees and the check engine light would come on. I took it to the radiator shop...
If its slipping in that low of a gear it is in bad shape. Put it in high and maybe third gear. Hold the brakes and let out the clutch. If the engine stalls then it is not the clutch.
If you decide to tow it you can use my towbar if you don't have one. I tow my Duece behind my 813 to the Ga Rally every year and as long as you stay on pavement have no problems.
Hello and welcome to the madness. I am located close to Statesboro. Testmaster in Savannah rebuilds pumps and has experience with military pumps. I don't think he has any parts left but if you get the truck or pump down here he is a straight up guy and maybe can give you some good advice. If...
What DH says is correct. I have had trouble with more than one. I also had one that the push rod lock came loose and the rod extended itself with use until the piston could not return all the way home which blocked the return hole.
Just saw your reply above. Did you adjust the push rod for...
He was very dark complected and his people called him Pokey. Guess how he got that nickname. I have much better luck with the ones that don't speak good English. And those two guys have been on my farm for 19 years now.
I quit using the ones with pucks on my farm tractors because of them eating up flywheels. They hold better but with me having employees who drove them it did not work out. I explain how to drive them but does very litle good most of the time. The last one I had lasted a week and had to...
I have some Royco 481 turbine oil and also another that just says 1010 turbine oil. The guy I got it from thought that one of them was synthetic but they appear to both be petrolum based. I have looked them up on the internet and they appear to be safe so can I burn these in the Duece??
