The glow plugs will draw around 100 amps when connected to the front battery with the resistor by passed. Add lights, heater fan, GP's etc ~ 125 amps is my guess. Any accessories that you may have added will increase the current demands. Karl

I used Fat Mat on my M1009. Painted it with the sound reducing paint first and then installed the rattle trap material on top. Seems to be quieter up front. The rear cargo are will be next. Karl

I first used a 4070. Now installing the 4071 filter. After 2 filter changes, next to no rust and gunk in them now. Coolant looks to be much cleaner now. Karl

Yes you can test them in the engine as long as you have a good connection to the blade connector and ground. I test them out of the engine as shown in the attached photo. It is always important when performing resistance tests and voltage measurements that you have good reliable connections...
