It was good to meet you as well. My concern is also weight, as well as height. i have no qualms removing my lift arch, although I am not really removing it as it is being repurposed into the habitat floor. As a rear “bumper”. That is where my taillights are going to reside.
As some...
The QRV/dump valve is a remote pressure regulator. Whatever it sees on its input port from the PCU, it copies on its output ports to the wheels. Put 60 psi on the input it will feed air from input to output untill output matches input. Lower the input side from 60 to 30, it will vent air from...
You were able to work the solenoids using the jumpers right, so they are probably OK. The best test for the wet tank switch is at the CTIS controller connector. When the tank goes over 117 PSI you snould see it close and complete a low resistance circuit between pin T in the connector and...
I have never seen one stop, i suppose if you had enough crap floating around in the cooling system, it could partially plug the hole(thats how the pepper trick works) but they still tend to leak/weep…
I would clean it off and see if it reappears. Could be exterior moisture mixing with dust and or cleaning chemical residue.
In my experience, rad leaks dont come and go:)
It doesnt have to be located at the highest, point, it just has to be plumbed to the highest point.
The highest plumbed point on these systems is the small hose barb fitting on the upper tank of the radiator. It goes in and turns up right up against the top of the tank to get as much air out...
Yea they are good pull points, but you can add ones just as usefull that don’t get in the way of a habitat build. By pulling that stuff off of there I can fit a 17‘ habitat on a 4x4 and still keep the 40 degree exit angle…
@ckouba You don’t really need to keep the expansion tank above the...
I agree with Awsomeness in that it is structural to the point that it must distribute most of the truck weight thru a small portion of the frame without damaging it during a lift.
But it is connected to such a small portion of the frame its structural addition would be minimal if any. In...
Yea they enjoyed the new ride characteristics coming up from Portland. They have a real nice habitat build going on... He was going to come back to see you about some ECU speedo programming…
The two trucks that were there gave rides... had some free hub spider assemblies, no takers:)
If you search using my user name, you should see the threads I have started. Not all that many that I can recall, and they were mostly questions. I have covered most of the modifications I have done over on utube under user name Rronmar And will continue to do so. I hadn‘t really thought of...
No, and those switch settings I suggested for the eco hubs do not appear to be correct either. They were derived with a chart, that trial and error by someone using a GPS for comparison has shown to not even be remotely correct for the speedometer and the pulse per mile used on the A0…
