I was wondering about the conduit. The seats are fine. Comfy actually!
Did a little work tonight with it. Loaded up a few tires to take over to twright Friday.
I like that 4XDesign. A nice simple design. Hard to make out in the pic, but does it impede any injection pump access? (I don't think it would) I think I'd try reconfiguring the stock column to make it "feel" more MV. (Cutting the tube and repositioning the contact pad to make it shorter...
Bet if you slowed down to 1800-1900 you'd see a MPG improvement. I know my 250 sucks fuel running that fast. I know wreckerman has made mention that's the "sweet spot" for them RPM wise.
Yes, you could bolt a 24V head on a 12V block, but you need to change pistons as well since injector placement changes and would affect spray pattern. Injector lines are completely different from all the variations as well. The timing covers are different as well due to the various pumps.
But...
Speaking of test lights. I don't have a "24V" one. But I did find a LED test light at the parts store a while back. I've used it for MV testing almost exclusively. It's worked well. And honestly it was one of the "made in china bargain bin" tools. Just something for people to consider when...
I could have used one of those the other weekend! The rivet just started rotating with the bolt instead. Since it was blocked by the part I needed to remove. I opted to cut the head off the bolt. Ended up just using a nut on it and using the bolt as a "stud" so to speak. Probably going to...
I used the behr ultra paint to paint my SEMTT last year. So far, so good. But only time will tell. That said, it is a house paint, so it's designed to stand up to UV better. It is an interesting idea though on the UV wax. But I'm not sure how that wouldn't cause a shine? Certainly if you...
Agreed on the better formed question. But that's also the mention I made of you don't have to answer every question. It might even give someone else a chance to share knowledge.
I have been mulling over this for some time now actually. Between PM's I've gotten here, PM's from elsewhere...
I can't answer specifically. But I can give a generalized answer. I have been through a few 5.9 Cummins over the years. The blocks are pretty much the same in regards to things "bolting on". With that said, there's variances within them. I dealt with a "cracked 53 block" on my dodge. I...
Perfectly understandable. And I know many users are on mobile devices on tapatalk. (That's a total pain to try any copy/pasting from any mobile device!!! [I say bad words often...]) But giving reference that "TM 123 has what you're looking for" in it is good as well. And also will help with...
No I'm not saying give them a fish. I'm saying that replies should hold more content than the short "Read the TM" replies.
Adding content to replies only helps the site. A thread started with a single reply of "read the TM" and closed thread doesn't help address the issue. And it also...
I have updated the site rules to include the following:
The purpose of a internet forum is to help grow an interest/hobby amongst a group of people. We seem to be straying from that these days. If those are the answer to any question here, then there's no point of a forum. Everything should...
