Hahaha oh man. Well, my plans had been September. I still want to do an MV camping trip with everyone and I'm very sad I missed the Avon trail run y'all did.
You bet M813rc, and thanks for the complements! (Many thanks to Gunzy too for the good price too)
As far as the color question, I am not sure. I'll see if I have something that is 686 tan in color to hold up next to the light colored markings and see if they match. I don't believe I have any...
Yes, thank you! But it doesn't hurt to be reminded and have it documented where I can easily find it ;)
I would have liked to keep the A1 trailer, but it would have just sat around outside like everything else. Now, if I had a large indoor storage for a proper "collection"... things might be...
Unfortunately this trailer was missing the data plate (well, all the data plates are basically illegible) on the tongue that would have had its Serial Number so I had to jump through the additional hoops to get a Utah issued VIN and have a VIN inspection, twice.
The hoops consisted of filling...
I bit sad to tell, as I hate parting with any of my military surplus, but I have sold this 1968 M101A1 in favor of a 1997 Pribbs M101A3. Many of the goodies on my A1 now live on my A3 :)
See the thread here...
Well, I sold my 1968 M101A1 and, in favor of the surge brakes, bought this 1997 Pribbs M101A3 from Gunzy!
Obviously from the stenciling it places it as a former USMC trailer. It hardly has been used too, but not surprisingly the surge shock is bad and the master cylinder was dry and...

New outdoor cover for the M105 trailer. This last poly tarp lasted just over 4 years. It actually hadn't started to rip yet, but it wasn't water tight.
I also finally took off the military cover and stored it in the shed so it wouldn't suffer any molding or abrasion...
I see that I have been lax at keeping this up to date. I have also not driven my truck as much as I should, so here's a short recap of the, nearly, last year.
Yes, adding the air-tool oil to the air pack really DID seem to help my brakes. They went back to what I believe is completely normal...
Red and his CUCV
Not a small job for Gunzy to maneuver his HEMTT and M1082 trailer out of the parking lot! But he did successfully back it up about 150 ft.
Solo trip home. My mother went with. She hates you taking pictures of her. ;)
I'm a bit late in following up, but we had a good turn out!
We were very well received by Brian, the manager of the West Jordan Smith and Edwards location. They took some pictures and posted about the event on their Facebook page. Brian came out and perused our vehicles and hoped we would come...
Final bump, this is happening TOMORROW! Weather looks amiable with a miraculous break in the rain. Dress appropriately as it’ll be a little chilly in the morning.
Using the Advanced -> Manage Attachments to upload photos is back to being problematic. If I select more than one photo to upload the attachment manager spins for ~20 seconds and then nothing. No photos uploaded. I have to select and upload each photo One. At. A. Time. That's overly tedious. I...
Gunzy, if the offer is still on the table, don't forget to bring that military 12-pin plug front harness from your M101A3 to trade and I'll bring rubber shell connectors (male exterior, female interior) so you can convert your M101A3's wiring to a civillian connection.
I do have a new, never...
