congrats clinto, you'll like the deuce. Hope you will keep the semi gloss paint job........if you want a quick freshen up, spray some WD40 on it. It will bring back the paint for about a month.
I was driving the deuce 4 yrs ago after a parade. I pulled into a gas station and as I got out a guy pulled up and asked me if I needed a towbar for one. I told him that it just so happens that I dont have one and that i want one. He told me that he had one that he bought for moving trucks...

When you pull the injectors, to check for fluid in the cylinder. Find a friend in the medical field. Have them get you a 60cc syringe and put a small hose on it and suck it out. Then you can make sure that your fluid free before attempting to spin it over by hand.
Last weekend in July............thurs friday sat.........if you go sat, be there early!!!!!! lots of people start to pull out on sat afternoon. But some of us, the GMMVC group hang out until sunday am...........if your a day trip, fri is the day for the vendors.
I will be there thurs...
Well I doubt that it was a gasser, maybe the fender was at one time. 5ton fenders took lots of abuse, esp the right side w the air cleaner can. To fit the ENDT-673 motor in the 5 ton.......the frame was notched from it design. So it will not be a straight rail at the top.
I have been wanting to ask.............whats with the pic of the B-47???? is that the one that was sitting at Pease AFB??? We have one over in Plattsburgh.
Yellow nose is to identify trucks from the air that belong to the 8th Trans Group in the highlands of vietnam.
24087 is the semi-gloss OD used in vietnam.
