Just chatted with Brian for a bit before he lost reception. He made it there safe is loaded up and headed home. Unfortunetly he is having to do this in some bad weather. But sounded like all was well for now. Stay tuned for pictures of his adventure..
Re: RE: Duece at home with trailer
First of all I mean no disrespect to anyone of Spanish decent.. Or am anyway a racist by saying this..Just the facts man
Now .. for the goods.
I am glad they think its ugly! I have seen how many will live in a van up here so if they liked army trucks we would...
Very nice pictures and the jeeps are awsome.. I see you stuck a FJ40 at the end..Hmmm I like them too! Its nice to see some sun and people out. After all I am stuck in the tundra right now but spring is on the horizon.. You have anymore? Would love to see them.
Well I see $400 in rims. $300 for the door spare tire carrier, some good hoods, good bumpers, troop seat hardware, soft top hardware, and I am sure much more.. I would buy them if they were close.. $500 for each at the scrap yard.. That trailer looks real nice.. Hmmm.. some one should save that...
I say buy them.. That is under scrap price.. If they have troop seats, bows, hitches, and some of the other little take offs they are worth it. A frozen up motor and drive line would sell for $300.. Hell if your not interested send me his number.. M37s are drying up and getting scrapped..
Swap the beds.. IMHO.. On my M109 the only difference in the wiring is a power lead that goes from the battery box to a outside breaker on the 109 body. You could make one in about 20 minutes. The winch is a pain in the butt to swap. Draining oil, shiming the PTO, extention bolts, linkage, bla...
Welcome to the site! But why are you yelling at me? :D We have some good guys in Alabama and you can probably find a nice wrecker for half that.. Are you willing to pay for transportation or do you need one close to you?
Messiah is fine by me.. It will be "JESUS CHRIST!!" when it breaks down anyway...LOL... Mine are that from time to time.. Is that cage on the back for you? So you can feel right at home? Just like the old days in prison trasport eh?
Looks like March is it! Can you get a building Just north of Lansing? I know I could have one up here somewhere but doubt anybody would come. Would anybody be willing to drive and bring parts to Gaylord for a swap meet?
Shoot I wonder if we cant throw together a little one this year.. Custer is...
Ted this is a great idea! The second part anyway.. lol. Most people are searching for parts in the winter and this is when they do most of there work. Lets see what we can do! I like the idea of a winter inside swap and show meet of somekind.. Will you forward this info to Curt and the GLMVPA...
