RE: pick up help in wisconsin
That trailer would go 2000 miles at 70 MPH no problem.. I bet the bearings are like new.. I have pulled much bigger and heavier trailers with my 3/4 ton no problem...

Did you get all the 230 parts you needed? I have some extras if you need them.. Still looking for another 251 crank if you happen accross one.
Sorry for post hyjack.. :D
Just wondering here.. Your wanting to restore this truck back to factory specs? If the conversion to the 318 was done right I would leave it.. If your going to drive it much you will bummed with the power difference when you back to the 230.. Crate motors are very rare so dont count on one.. Are...
RE: M37 Cargo Value
Pics would help greatly but I will take a stab at it.. From your discription the cargo sounds like a $500 dollar truck.. Basicaly scrap price.. And the M43 sounds like a $1500 dollar truck.. But it veries accross the country.. As mentioned above they are getting hard to find...
Your probably right. I am not very familiar with the M135/M211 drive line.. But the M35 series has a rear PTO on the Tcase for running the different implements....
