Hey Monty. Love the cab ! Need some pictures from the outside though. Wished you had this done when I was last up there.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Yes there will be an improvement since your not regulating the fuel anymore. Now you need to check your Pyrometer to make sure you don't burn holes in your pistons.

Is that minus thing about negative feedback from members ? Also what is this reaction time thing . Are we suppose to take a test ?

No kidding ! Who thought this new look was a good idea ? Why is everything Black ? Where are all my old posts ? I'm too old for this.

what cordless tool are you using to get your lug nuts off

Speaking of new tool lines. Harbor Freight has started their "Icon" tool line. They say it will compete with the big boys like MAC and Snap-On . I bought a set of wrenches to try out. They are a little bigger then the Snap-On wrenches (thicker) but overall they look and feel pretty good. Their...

The look on their faces should be priceless when you pull in with your Deuce again !

What did you do to your deuce this week?

So your the one from Kalifornia ! LOL just kidding David. It's good to have people of "Right" thinking up here in the Pacific Northwest. I remember when all those Californians came up here in-mass in the late 1970's. The place hasn't been the same since. It's nice to know that not all...

Multifuel motor mounts (isolation mounts, rubber mounts, engine mounts)

I thought the OA-331 engine used standard motor mounts ? At least mine sure looked like they where standard type mounts. I still have one of my M34 1954 REO's left. I'll try and remember to check them tomorrow. I already bought a set of motor mounts for my M35A2, so I won't be trying this...

    M35a2 Wont start

Sometimes the truck can be setting at a slight angle and the water in the fuel settles in a corner. Then you only have to fix a small area. Of course there is the other side of the coin when your whole tank bottom has water setting on it ! Like yours appeared to do. Then your SOL !

Multifuel motor mounts (isolation mounts, rubber mounts, engine mounts)

Has anyone found "polyurethane" motor mounts for the Deuce ? Or transfer-case mounts ?

    Uses for Deuces

Totally agree ! I could use that to move around the heavy engine blocks and transmissions and transfer-cases around here. As it is I have to get my son and the heavy duty hand-truck for the transmissions and transfer-cases. The engines need the neighbors tractor . He can only help on certain...

What Gimpyrobb said. Plus if you need NOS filters Gimpyrobb has them for real cheap.

    Stuttering/starving at acceleration - ideas

The Hydraulic Head being changed could effect not only the idle, but the fast idle too. Every Hydraulic Head is just a bit different then the other even though they are suppose to be exact replacements. Could it make this much difference ? Who knows. Was your Hydraulic Head completely...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I remember putting them in a sealed bucket with several other lights I wanted to keep safe. I have several storage rooms of stuff. All packed from floor to ceiling. If I made an extreme effort to find them it would probably take several days just to clean out one of the rooms. It makes me tired...

Put on your thinking caps. Oil leaking

The oil passages in the block are drilled from the front to the back of the block. They where drilled out when the block was first made. The manufactures just use NPT plugs to seal off the passages. Some are used for pressure gauges and other things like Turbo oil feeds.

Then you need to look at your first fuel filter by the generator. It is suppose to be a fuel/water filter. Then clean out your fuel tank and add some water inhibiters/absorbers to the fuel. Or just dump the fuel and start fresh.
