True for those who don't address the insulation and window tint.
Interestingly, I've spoken to people who have done it though.
I chuckle when I see people in FB groups insisting that if you want to cool an LMYV cab you simply MUST have a 30,000btu Gen2. But they cool their entire...
Good to know. I'd have never guessed that.
My M1083 ABS port has what appear to be two male pins on the trailer (I assume a ground and a data wire). It's also much smaller in diameter than the J1939. I'd have never guessed that a J1708 6-pin would work on the 2-pin ABS connector.
They vary for sure. You have to watch for shipping when looking at Ali. As well as complete "kits". Some show only the two units, some show complete kits, most of the time they will tell you it's a complete kit.
But there aren't all that many of the little scroll compressors used. How...
Yeah, it appears to be a little 24v mini split.
A couple people here actually run them in the cab or hab.
I haven't ordered mine yet, but I have one picked out on Ailexpress. If I'm happy with it in the cab, I'll add a second one for the hab to complement my little 5K 110v...
Well, I disco my batteries when I weld on the truck.
That said, the J1939 port doesn't typically burst into flames when welding on the truck. The Bluefire being connected shouldn't really be a factor. And the display is driven wirelessly via bluetooth
Thanks. I'm still a bit fuzzy on the basics of the CTIS. To me it's all magic ;)
But what I don't know is if the engine ECU tracks that sensor/data. If it does, it could be displayed via the Bluefire. I still haven't dug thru all the possible sensors and readouts that the...
Not sure, I'll dig into it and see. The Bluefire appears to be capable of displaying anything on the ECU.
But I don't honestly know to what extent the ECU tracks axel air/PSI (if it even does). If it does, I would think it was per axel and not wheel, though. /dunno
I know that...
My amazing feat of the week was installing 6-fuse blocks behind both the driver and passenger kickpanel.
One thing I hate about the A1R is the way BAE buried the power lugs used to tap into additional power. While there are +/- lugs right on the left face of the PDP on the A0...
Those Pelicans are a sweet match for the rack,

They make a taller version as well (for the same price):

I like that rack.
I still plan to build my own, but this is nice. I like the weight factor of it being aluminum, but I'd wreck it on the first tree branch.
Still, for under $1500 with all the needed hardware it's a quick solution for those with the pockets...
