    New to me m108 2.5 ton crane/wrecker

I've seen that one for sale on a number of sites for a few years now. They were a bit proud in the asking price IMHO. Congrats on the purchase.

    What would a M1028 RPM's be with 410 gears and stock tire?I

I've driven my M1008 ~2hrs at 65mph for 2hrs. However it's on HMMWV tires. I've done close to that a few times in it. Been glad to be out of it every time and I'm sure it was happy as well. http://www.grimmjeeper.com/gears.html is a great tool to figure out RPM. My truck would be at 3150rpm...

    Rat Deuce project 1

It'd all be flat sheetmetal. Think HMMWV. I have a couple hundred page book with the prints for everything.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Had a leaking axle seal on the bobber. Got it pulled down and the old seal out tonight. I need to pick up some rags, lots of parts cleaner, and little stuff tomorrow. I've got a seal I'll rob from the kit I bought for the other axle.

16.00r20 on 24 bolt mrap wheels

Guessing you don't flex it much? Looks like it'd chew up the fenders/wheel wells if it got flexed. (Not cutting you down. I'm sure my fenders on my SEMTT would rub if I bound it up)

Oops, but that's only with G20 tires.

16.00r20 on 24 bolt mrap wheels

16.00's won't fit at all on a 6x6 deuce, not without MAJOR mods. Won't fit on a bobber either without a lift I'm afraid as well. I'm running PLS wheels with the MRAP peashooter plates. Works great, no rubbing at all.

CBR Metalworks M920 hauler 'Mad Max'

I had gone down this path when I had a M55A2 and a MK17 unit. I was to the point where I had all the numbers worked out to make it work with the sprag unit but I still was afraid to try it. But with a M939 series truck the t-case still worries me (weakness). That said, as I recall, the...

No Title for Truck - What Am I missing?

Paypal is a joke when it comes to making things right. I've been burned multiple times with them. But it's a "necessary evil" these days. Matter of fact, someone stole my paypal debit card number and was using it in Home Depots in MD the past two days. I called them up to report it...

I'm torn on this month as well. Heavily leaning towards the tracked armor though. But which one?

    Changes in Forum Editing?

So, is the full editor instead of the quick edit better for you two? I'm indifferent to which one is used. But it's a global setting for everyone else.

It will come with time. I must admit, you gave me a good laugh this AM with this line. Glad you're becoming more active here. :)

    Changes in Forum Editing?

I can revert it away from quick edit to the full edit. I turned it on for now as full edit. Please let me know if you have any problems with that. (This does away with the inline editing and takes the single post out to a page of it's own and into the editpost scripting.)

    deuce making oil.

That's hard to make out, but it appears to be silicone to me. Is the oil pan gasket sealed with silicone as well? Valve covers maybe?
