Congrats!
Yes. Atlanta Truck Center.
My insurance covers me for 30 days after purchase, but with something like this, I think it would be really smart to go ahead and add it to your insurance and have a card with you.
We right outside Athens.
I'd drive it but have a backup plan. You...
I'm in the same boat. Chrome simply redirects to the "blocked" page even after I sent a report and explained and even after I chose "Continue at your own risk". Since patracy can't do anything else, does this mean the site is more or less banned from Chrome users forever? I had gotten used to...
It's been a year or so since I did the last one with this "kit" but I remember the arm coming with a new nut that you'll use.
I love this upgrade but it has one downside: Sometimes when you turn on the air, the motor sticks, then you keep putting more air to it and then the motor unsticks and...
We bought one from Olympic a while back, in 2011. About $240. Still working flawlessly 2 years later.

There are many new units on SS and eBay that are cheaper...
Obviously a G742/M44 manual would be post WWII.
If we're trying to prove the genesis of the handles by what they were used for in WWII, then we need..................... a CCKW TM. If the military put them on, they did it for a reason and that reason would be in the TM.
I would be very...
I think most everyone is done arguing because the correct answer was posted here: http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?3157-hopefully-not-a-dumb-question&p=25053&viewfull=1#post25053, which I linked to all the way back on post #15 of this thread...
I am surprised the rope is what failed-I figured there were a whole host of things that would go first.
Was the rope flawed? Rusty, kinked, flattened, etc.?
Believe me, it was a welcome interruption.
I haven't driven it yet. I gotta change the oil tomorrow and drive it and see how it is. All I've done is heard it start and idle for a few minutes.
If it still leaks, it's gotta' be something bad, since I've done everything.
It was a lot of fun having Phil and the boys over, it gave me an excuse to chat and stop working on this stupid hydraulic head. rofl
You guys are always welcome here.
North Ga. has a lot going for it. If we can help in any way, let us know.
Ok, the final description of what was wrong.
Much thanks to gimpyrobb, squirt truck and doghead. I can not tell the three of you how much I appreciate your help. Much thanks to floridianson, welldigger and rayzer as well. I appreciate the info.
I decided to (based on some advice) to put the...
Okay I got it to top dead center on the compression stroke and I verified the timing mark on the bouncer and in the advance unit in the injection pump.
See:
Oh, tapatalk won't let me put the pics where I want. Look below.
So I pull off the fuel shutoff cover and I see that the plunger is...
Ok, so I just put it all back together and tried to start it and it definitely will not run. It will run on silicon as long as I sprayed into the intake but as soon as you take it away it dies.
Since I had it running for several seconds, I'm gonna assume I don't have any issues with air or the...
OK, I need some clarification on timing one of these.
Backstory: My '87 M35A2C w/LDT was brewing it's own oil. Tested the booster pump right before 13SSGR and found it was leaking, so I replaced the seal. Truck continues to brew it's own oil, so now I am removing the flame heater & replacing...
If you indeed have the sprag transfer, there are several threads which detail how to diagnose/adjust them. If you go through the procedure and the front axle still does not engage, the sprag is worn out and must be replaced. At this point, I'd upgrade the truck to an air shift as tie6044...
Welting was used. It was a rubber flap similar to the hardtop-to-cab seal. You'll probably have to fabricate something, I've never seen the correct ones for sale.
Moving the air cleaner probably won't make a lot of difference to the temp and if it does, the cooler air will still have to...
