I thought that looked like a rotary:) Had a friend in highschool who was into mazda rotarys, he had RX2’s and 3’s and a pickup. We would open up the restrictor ports in shop class and re-assemble them. They were awesome in all categories, up to and including when they ate themselves:)
GVW = Curb weight + payload. Curb weight(empty weight + #404 of fuel and #606 of crew weight) on an A0 M1079 is 18,834 +5000 in payload for 23,834 pounds…
In most hydraulic systems, all you have to do is fully cycle the system to purge air, like you did. The issue you can run into on the LMTV revolves around the load safeties used in the cylinders to keep a load from falling if a hose fails. Air pockets trapped in a cylinder can be compressed...
That info, how to use the manual, is usually passed at the school where the techs who work on the vehicles get training:)
I have been to schools where more than half the course was on JUST how to use the manual…
Disconnect the lift hose on the cab lift cylinder and run it into a container.
Run the AOP till fluid comes out of the hose end. Reconnect hose end, top off AOP reservoir and lift cab…
I suppose you could also hook up a milivolt meter to the small terminals on the shunt on the A0 and read the current being sent toward the battery. every .001V measured on the small terminals = 1Amp of current passing thru the shunt…
What color are the LEDs flashing? yellow or green?
24V on the forward regulator terminal is good, those voltages on the output, not so much.… so if all your grounds are good, one of two things is happening.
1. The alternator or regulator has issues.
2. The batteries are horribly depleted or...
At the top of the lmtv forum there is a pinned discussion called lmtv fmtv quick parts reference. The first comment has a link to a document with that info and a whole lot more which is why it is pinned there at the top…
Do you have a voltmeter? With the engine running you need to see 24v on the forward small terminal stud on the voltage regulator(that is the truck telling the alt to generate power). If that is there, do you have 14.1/28.2 on the large output terminals on the alternator case?
Does the A1 alt...
They separate in the turn signal switch on the steering column and you will have to separate connections inside that harness if you want to break-out a discreet left and right turn signal line.
Basically the turn signal switch has 3 inputs. Brake(from brake hazard relay), constant pulse from...
Couldn’t tell you if it will work or not after a reprogram. There were different harnesses and I believe they determine how the controller behaves In different vehicles. You also could be fighting a second problem. Was this an auction truck? Not uncommon to pile all the bad parts on/strip...
