Some rear brake plumbing shots using the same hose. That's an R-12 relay valve for the service side and an SR-7 spring brake modulating valve all mounted to the cross member centered above the trunnion.
3/8" SAE J1402A Air Brake Hose and its associated fittings. Simple to repair in the field. The fitting just off of the chambers is a swivel to avoid any binding or kinking of the hose during steering.

Do you have the treadle valve firewall mounting plate? It makes the install much easier and reinforces the firewall.

The Bendix manual for the QR1 valve indicates the valve should be mounted vertically with exhaust port down. I don't know if that makes a difference in performance or if that is to keep contaminants out.

Not a fan of super singles. I wrestled some off an M931A1 in Hesperia, CA when I cannibalized it's front brakes. That chore reaffirmed my displeasure in them.
Safety was the first reason I changed over, but this was the close runner up for me. I would have to add not messing with tubes and split rings too
