A properly adjusted deuce sprag transfer will work as good as a 5t, the problem is a lot of people are used to a civiy 4x4 where thay can 4x in and out, SO if thay can't do that thay THINK anything ealse is crap and/or do not want to take the time to keep things in adjustment.
If a sprag, it engages when the xcase senses when the rears are spinning ( going faster then the front) due to the OVER RUN clutch, with the free wheeling hubs the xcase will think the rears ARE spinning and engage the sprag which in turn will drive the front axle, just not the WHEELS,

We were talking about the sprag, so even a 5t sprag will have the same effort, with the R & C there will be even more load on everything, with the R & Cs grabing dirt at the same time, with a postive 100% locked, 100% of the time is putting a tremendous strain on everything with the TWO...
YOU WILL break something without major wheel slip, you NOW have two gear ratios locked together, no different then little tires on the front, BIG on the rear, then drive down the highway,
You really NEED to read some TMs on the sprag as you have NO idea how it works.
Spell check always tells me that SPRAG is spelled WRONG, just proves what I already knew that spell check is not as smart as it thinks it is, if it was it would at least recognize some of the words that I type (sounds right to me)
