Very nice[thumbzup] What length did you cut and paste to...10 ft?
I've found and purchased an M923 bed. I'll be picking it up and having the fab work done next month. The project should be done by the end of August.
I printed a copy of the -10 early on when I first got my truck. That is the only TM I recommend anybody print in its entirety. Have two; keep one at your desk and one in your truck. I did find issue copies on eBay for reasonable cost.
I print -20 and -34 as pages only as projects call for them...
When I did belts and hoses I decided it was a good time to change my thermostat. I got it all open up and taken out easy as pie. The darn thing was brand new looking. So, I put it back in. Done.
A few weeks back I installed a master cylinder remote reservoir. It's been weeping around the MC cap so I will be putting in a new gasket.
We were in an Independence Day parade last week.
And, last Saturday I bought an M923 dropside bed up in Hesperia, CA. In a few weeks I'll pick it up and...
I am making a couple off the drop side bed short front/side racks from stock. I have all the steel hardware, but I need the slat length. If someone has a moment can you grab that measurement for me? Thanks in advance.

This past weekend we installed a second set of shackle mounts underneath the front bumper. In doing so some of the hardware had to be replaced due to new thicknesses.
We also removed the windshield hinges. They were a bit frozen up and deserved a coat of paint. I soaked them PB Blaster and...
Where are you in CA? I just happen to have one NOS 5-ton torque rod end sitting in my garage if your buddy is in a pinch. PM me if interested.
I did all mine on the M818. A lot of work, but do-able. The top inner nuts on the trunnion frame are a PITA. I found a performance shop in Gardena...
My sending units are secured with Philips head screws as is the lift tube on my right tank. I have an M39/M809 series tank on the right and an M939A0/A1 on the left. Both have screws holding down the sending units. I have never has issues removing the screws. Attach pics of what your set-up...
Actually two weeks ago, I installed new shut-off gladhands with polyurethane seals all the way around. It required some minor plumbing on the rears.
Yesterday, I installed a second tube type left fender to frame bracket on the right fender to the frame rail. After installing the winch, I...
Different truck, but my M818 radiator leaked from where the top tank plate soldered to the core when the system pressurized. Coolant would trickle down when running and I'd get that distinctive maple syrup smell. The coolant would then pool in front crossmember and drip from the hole in the...
