Well I have read a number of post were they say if you pull the transmission to replace the rear main seal... I did not and guess what, it was leaking also.
So out comes the transmission again to replace the rear main. DOH!!aua
Replaced the seal and put the transmission back in and did a 25...
At idle you will not see the temp. gauges move, you will need to get it on the road and drive a little then they should start coming up.
It should have a oil pressure gauge and on the air intake thing???
Can you post some picks of the gauges and air indicator?
I think the 12302952A is the P/N of the frame side and the other numbers I do not think are the s/n also.
A 923A2 should start with a 23xxxxxx But I maybe wrong.
M-35tom was right!!! Someone used silicone and stopped up the drain back hole in the transmission housing.
I am guessing that was the problem all along.
Will be putting the transmission back in this weekend, I hope.
M-35tom Thanks!!!!!
You may need more then one. I think they come .010, .020 .030, .050".
Be sure to check the back slash on the gears after you put it on.
It is almost impossible to check it with dial indicator on the truck. But you
can feel it for the most part. Most of the time it is .030"
