Culver City PD Commercial Enforcement is absolutely ruthless. I consulted with them and their parking enforcement SGT. prior to purchasing my truck. I heard tale of your friend getting his Deuce taken away directly from the individual who ordered the impounding. I am a LEO from a large SoCal...
Aaaaahhh! The horror of it allrofl!! I'd keep it away from the big iron. I know my truck likes to snack on little cars.
Sorry, fellas. Riverside is a little far for me. On duty 'til 1630. Would never make it, even in the daily driver. Good news though, I drove the 5-T as the daily...
It was basically suck up and bust for me. I got one more or less to protect me from the lawyers in case of a catastrophic event. In addition I am a LEO and I did not want to be caught not obeying the law especially by my employer. I've got a Class B. Matter of fact I have to renew my medical...
I like the look of those plates. I saw them in another thread here on the site. I can't remember which thread. I'd like to see CA adopt a special HMV plate. I have the CalVets plate on my daily driver. An HMV plate would be a nice compliment. Maybe I should start a movement???
To expand on my earlier comments...Neighbors: they are pretty tolerant. I store the truck off site and they start asking about it if I haven't brought it home in a while. I try to keep it a novelty for them.
Ah, touche, my railroad friend. I just had a huge case of deja vu.;-)
Out here in Southern CA I personally have not run into any major problems...YET. Although, I'm not saying CA is completely MV friendly. I verified VIN through AAA, registered Historic through a DMV proxy service and insured through JC Taylor. I have been left well enough alone. But then...
Couple more pics from from the 2011 show. A local on-line newspaper reporter took them just prior to our afternoon departure.Culver City Car Show Lures the Locals - Culver City, CA Patch
Second Showing at yearly event
Once again Hannibal was a hit at the Culver City (CA) Car Show hosted by Hollywood and Hot Rod legend George Barris. Held last Saturday, 05-07-11, Hannibal showed off his new accoutrements (troopseats, toolboxes, mudguards) acquired over the past year. Lots of...
Let us know how you will be planning to remember our fallen heroes on this thread.
Get your Iron rollin'...America needs us, guys. Let 'em know we care!
Hannibal and crew will be coordinating Cub Scout Pack 18's (Culver City, CA) involvement in the Flag Placement Ceremony at Los Angeles...
I agree with the above statement. Face it, we live in a litigious society chock full of lawyers ready to sue everybody and take everything you have. C-Y-A is the order of the day.
HOWEVER, the problem with these CDL threads is not with the individual SS members, but it is the laws and...
Sorry we missed the OERM/ATHS show. My son and I love the OERM. We had a Cub Scout Camp Out to go to. Congrats on the the win. Cool trophy.
The truck is looking good. Where'd you find your fiberglass troop seats? Did you get them brand new or are they a good used set.
