In the truck world, this kind of rebuild (in frame) is normal, just roll in the bearings if needed after a plastige check and a journal inspection, I have seen inframe turn into out...
Bet the answer is NO unless the truck is owned by a union compeny with the driver union AND a stevedore, other wise you will be taking a job (which thay can't do, the reason of the off port truck) from a union hand. :cookoo:
If you are getting unburnt fuel smoke after warm up be careful, running like this will wash the rings, putting fuel in the oil, burning the rings, major ware on the sleeves/cylinders
I would guess that because of the hard top, the trans would be good, no water
