I did a boot some weeks back and the wire clamp had the nut welded to the wire clamp, that is the way to go. A lot easier to start the screw.

Looked one more place.. Black 1 Purple 2 White 3 yellow 4 Good luck!!

Sorry, I looked at all my trucks and they are marked with color bands not nunbers. Not much help.

No you do not. Remove the safty wire, screws, metal ring and the old boot. Also the wire ring that holds the boot on. Then clean the axle area and put the new boot on. But you need about four hands to do it.

Rick, I think I met you the other day when you were getting some parts in AZ. Are trying to engage the pto when the trans. is in 1-5? That is how you need to engage the pto. Then to run the winch you move the trans. back to N. I think when you put the trans in 1-5 the pto should stop turning...

Has anyone rebuilt an injector pump from a MEP-003A before that can help with my problem? I think the fuel shutoff is working ok.

When I took mine out I had to use some heat to get it out, also a big hammer. Just keep working on it with oil, heat and Big hammer.

I picked up a M970 fuel trailer with a Onan 4 cly motor on it. I changed the fuel filters and flashed the lines out, than I tried to start it and I can not get it started. I think it is the same motor that is on the MEP003A. It turns over but will not fire up. The injectors or not getting fuel...

I got my tow bar from Carnac this morning. I meet him at the TA truck stop along I10 on his way back home. We talked about trucks a little then he headed for home in TX. It was good to meet him for the first time.

I know the 14.00-20's do well in sand. So the M923a1 and M923A2 will do fine. But a M923 with 11.00-20's will not do well. The front tire just sink down into the sand.
