Carnac, I live just off I10 at exit 103 or 94 in Tonopah, AZ. I will buy you breakfeast or Lunch or dinner if you want to take a break.
It is just a truck stop.
Also if you need some help along the way.
I maybe interested in a Towbar with 1" feet and pins. Do I need to talk to Jesusgatos.
Thanks!
Some of the trucks came with a wet kit, that had the controls in side, the reservoir, PTO and pump and the valve under the truck. Would be easy for you to install a winch. Some USMC trucks they removed the winches, not sure why, maybe to load them better on the ships?????
I have a very nice 1983 M934 for sale in AZ. It came from the NV NG and has been rebuilt, has AC in the cab with air ride seats.
It is in great shape. All things work.
Here is the link to when I picked it up...
I have a friend that put sand and pea gravel in one of his Jerry cans and strapped it to a little and cement mixer, after about an hour it was good as new. Then he coated it with something, sorry I do not know what it was. But it was a cool way to clean the inside.
I put 2.5 gal of diesel in a 5 gal fuel jug, then I add 2.5gal of WMO, give it a shake, then I add it to the truck.
It is just the way I do it. I'm sure there is a better way.
Here are the two seals you need.

Your bearings my have the grease washed out of them from the gear oil.
Be sure to read the TM on how to install them.
Good luck with the new truck!!!
