I disagree with all the above - what sacraglidge to have done all that hard work to look in your rear view mirror and see that hard work to be following you.
What a shame - as someone mentioned when you get to the rally expect at lease ONE critic.
That baby looks sweet - all your hard work...
You can make your own seams on the edges to underlap your old metal for one so the seams turn out even with each other.
WHen you layer your epoxy - do so in thin coats - then level out - blow out - layer again to make your final smooth coat.
There is an air tool that punches 1/4 in ch holes...
Thanks for the kind words. I did have lots of pics of the entire build to the 109's - something like 880 pics and over 45,000 posts on the builds. I had a moderator remove my thread per request. Plus wiping out the posts as well but I did not care.
The pics I saved of the ac system I installed...
I remember back in 1979 fuel crisis where folks were pushing cars to the pumps - fuel theft got outrageous and the sale of fuel cap locking caps went through the roof.
Theives just took a body hammer - crawled underneath - punched a hole in the tank and filled their cans and walked away. Same...
WM may wind up from inside the grapevine to the only known person to date to have an operational AC system in a Deuce and 1/2 - WM - can you say bring it to Commander Warp. Close to getting one installed does not count.
My friends are now moved back to down under in Nowra - let me know if anyone close - they would be excited to have someone knock on their door making it a small world indeed.
Squirt-Truck
Assume - the assuming position.
Couple little things in it to take it down the highway to figure out - but up to that point - absolutely assume.
assume your regular postion.
Are you saying there is a size difference ? Just need a litle more info on being able to help. If I cannot I am sure there is a member here who can assist to get you up and running.
I have a CJ5 radiator for Dingers unit - Debs is originaly re-cored. The CJ is thinner but it will bolt in and with the shroud on it you can only tell from looking at the radiator top tank then to see the difference - just more volume for cooling. Blade is the same as well.
WOW Blondeguy - there was a fella at the show wanting one and I turned him on to come to SS even though he did not have an MV yet.
Best place to come - read - learn - and then seek one out was my reason - besides getting another awesome memeber here with us.
Hope he (they cause there were a...
Deb took the pic in full sun at the show - only one I have of the fun - the best thing the judges stated is that the folks were allowed to touch - sit - get into the ambulance section to actually FEEL and be a part of what the Medics had to work in.
The other pic is a toy I built in a couple...
Under your pm reply box you are pming in - in the second box with a white boarder you will see MANAGE ATTACHEMENTS - click on that and post your pictures as you would then on a thread or post.
hope this helps
Just hang in ther on your build of the jeep - it is going to be worth the work.
There are a lot of members here with the jeeps so do not feel out of place here - your very welcome and the pictures are a great addition when your posting.
Speaking from experience - check out the other members...
M43B1 took #3 of the top 15 at the car show.
M38A1 - when we left the house driving it she studdered around the next street and died. Time contraint on my part to not want to fuss with it and enjoy at least part of the rest of the day I let er roll backwards all the way to the front of the...
Taking Zout 2's M38A1 to a car show tomorrow in full display as best as I can along with the 43 that has gone though a full manual wax treatment this week. The paint in the Ga sun had really gotten to it really bad - last person to see it in poor shape was PB - so what she looks like now after...
If I recall correctly - years ago when the Corvette was introduced this was the adhesive made specifically at that time to glue the fiberglass panels - held with the grip of God so to speak. Then the uses for it got more advanced as you are speaking of. Lots of work is done with the 3M product...
Good possibility the 3M bonder is going to eventually break and separate away.
Like a member said when you close to sealing the seam use the seam sealer.
Mig - no doubt with it windy it was making your gas non-existant and setting really sound like they were way off for body metal.
Get the...
Sure wish in the engine pics it would have captured the ac compressor - idler - hoses - dryer. The ac kits that are out there in the crates that are selling are what those units are to go in - so if you thinking about cooling something smaller - it works with a little fabbing.
Besides seeing...
