Oddly enough, I've been rather shocked at the number of owners I've read about (mostly new of course) who simply didn't know about or didn't check the knob. My neck would scream bloody murder if those bags were down. LOL
Heh, you know those trucks are pure shell and DOM tubing on top of...
And checking the nut on the air compressor gear set is a wise call. I've seen a number of videos where people fried their engines as a direct result of that failure.
It was an upgrade specified by the Army (removing the nut and replacing with a locknut) but obviously a lot of these trucks were...
I don't think resign-based potting will "melt off" inverted on an oven rack. It will "gel" at it's "liquidation" point, but not "flow".
Any increase in heat beyond that would simply start to burn things...
Looks like about the same size box as I'm going with (a 14' ambulance box like Coachgeo is using as well). His truck already has the spare and intake removed, but I plan on leaving it like you did then add a slight cut in the rear to maintain the departure angle.
Love what you did for the...
That's an interesting concept, but I know just enough about turbos to be dangerous.

I didn't see one (else I'd have asked) so I'd assume whatever it was must have sold.

Texas lost our dunebuggies on the roads due to the TxDMV slipping in a rule change. They revoked titles (good luck selling one, they are treated as "equipment" according to the TxDMV), they refuse to issue any new titles (purchased or constructed dunebuggies), and the more we challenged it the...
Yes.
A couple of toys in there.
A little sand rail (VW-powered):
And my Baja pre-runner (I didn't build this one, but it's akin to some we did in the past):
So I was chillin' on the island watching college girlies and waiting on sunset, when this happened:
Added an industrial (neighbor-annoying) backup alarm.
Painted the tailgate (OCD made me do it) and faded it in a bit to match the weathering on the rest of the truck.
Got familiar with the tarp options.
And last night I made sure I could get the spare off in the dark with only a flashlight.
Also, it would appear that there may be copies of viewing software available for free for individual civilian use:
