The amendment passed to give to 2019. You have until 2019 to be considered "grandfathered". If you let it lapse after that or sell it, it is under the new plate rules from then on. Does not affect any that are not marked "off road only".
You got off lucky if this is all of it.
Note the change is only with titles marked "off road use only" and you have to 2019 to be "grandfathered" in.
Nothing else but HMMWV is coming through with "off road use only" on the Bill of Sale or the SF97 title that I know of, so this will not apply to anything but HMMWV at this time...
I was just thinking yesterday that there should be a liquid tire sealant that is like that spray on Flex-seal liquid rubber. Wo doesn't have problems with o-rings? Hey...new orings do matter, even then 2 of 6 go down rather quickly on my 929.
I had some 14.00 x 20 NDCC that had them, so they are made. They went with the tires.
Sure, cut from a 14.00 innertube too---but I've not done it---it just seems to make sense.
How about the spring/shock devices that hold hoods and rear gates on cars? Those have rather long stroke and with an arm, can be positioned strategically to go over center.
I'm making a dump bed out of mine, so wondering about a fold around wing, like a 929/817 dump truck.
The spring...
Yea bummer. Hate it when that happens. Too much stress all around.
I think Wes has the PU for the machine he is delivering to Albany NY worked out and may be planning his trip. But he said he was changing transfer cases too.
I hate to, but I may be reduced to begging.
Thank you very much G. Bearing placement on the axle and this swap have been debated both ways (in favor and against) and it will be great to have a definitive answer to what is required for dish out mounting (and have bearings approximately centered on the wheels).
My son was in Norfolk and his bridge toll card didn't work right, sometimes would register and other times wouldn't. While he was out on the sub they would send nasty threatening letters that said he owed huge amounts of money for "fees" that they tacked on. The letters came to our house, not...
Okay G, Without having these in front of me or scale drawings I have to admit, the numbers get confusing. Your drawings help significantly. But is this comparison a comparison for use of the M105A2 bearing in a deuce hub on the deuce axle or the M105A2 axle?
I missed what you are pointing...
Wes, The lights look good, nice and bright. Looks like you put in a nice size tank...that should do it. Were you using one or 2 cylinders on the rear? Are you entirely re-making it or filling in between? Your a busy man!
Have you ever got the NY delivery worked out? The man bringing the...
Selling (one) new Chelsea PTO for an M939 series... shaft drive just like the 929 and 925.
Gimpyrobb has (1) NOS Chelsea PTO that is the narrow version for fitting on the 939 series 5 tons.
He could bring it to Findley. It's the lowest price you'll ever see on one....$200. Only 1 so...
Put them on, center them and weld a very small block of metal on each side...problem solved.
Myself, I'm using the perches off the 105 to get a wider, outside of the frame mount. I'm also reinforcing the frame with (2) L's formed 13.00" x 3.0" x 1/4" x 8' and making the bottom 5" below the...
That's what I intended to say...that the M105A2 axle will require the M105A2 axle bearings put into in the deuce hub. Note I still don't have shoulder to shoulder dimensions to confirm same placement in the hub. I don't see why they would not be....but this is government stuff.
Now all I have...
I used wheels from a 1 ton Ford van also. Trailer supply places like e-trailer will have wheel/tire combo as most trailers are the same bolt pattern. They are bolt centered.
What do you mean by "the larger bearing"? Od is the same, 4.4375" on all hubs, only the ID of the bearing is changed. They should interchange with no "boring out" at all. if you are using an M105A2 axle, you must use the bearings for the M105A2 hub. If for whatever reason you put an M105A2...
