If you loosen up the bolts, they should come with the head. It can be done without removal of the compressor. I'm sure there are some good threads and wes referenced a TM.
Clean the control also and make sure that tube is clear...it can hold a lot of debris.
Grendel, it will be a really handy trailer. It's incredibly strong and you have the fold down sides for better access at just the right height. Does your pickup have the pintle?? I like the long tongue even if M35 likes to make fun.
I used the deuce for dump trailer because it has fixed...
Sounds like a stuck unloader valve in the head of the pump. It unloads with pressure, so no pressure should make the pump, pump. Some oil may help free it up. It's a pain in the butt to get off to take apart and clean. If you take the output manifold lose you can confirm if the pump is...
Let me guess, the next series is the bulldozer on top of the hummers. When I bought the (28) Jeeps, after I got what I could they started that part, I had to leave. The MRAP's were new...so an order of magnitude more wasteful in my opinion.
Wes, I about cried when I saw 50 or so new MRAP with cranes and 16.00's new.....and couldn't get a lug nut. The wastefulness was entirely beyond my comprehension....new Cat engines just destroyed. It's hard to have much trust in the military's wise use of resources when they prove no...
Note...in Indiana there is no requirement to use an SF-97 to get title and plates.... they will do it from the bill of sale and a police inspection. It's not "circumventing" anything...all the MV I have purchased (15 trucks + 8-10 trailers) have been titled and can have plates in exactly the...
You seem to be jumping the gun on compressor when the unloader in the head of the compressor is probably stuck. Loosen the tube on the top of the compressor and see if it will build pressure. After you take the unloader tube lose at the top of the compressor, get some air tool oil (Marvel...
I've titled 15 5 tons and M35's with bill of sale and police vin inspection only, no SF-97.
One trailer took 2 inspections since we had to get a vin assigned and put onto a permanent plaque and affixed after sending in a picture of it. I don't know why anyone would wait for an SF-97 that...
Not that the brgs shouldn't take it, but I wouldn't beat on them too much.
If you can't find a flat head socket cap screw in the right thread and size and direction, use a washer and regular socket head cap screw (correct thread and rotation). Fastenal would be my first stop. You do need...
FMTV are you sure they are 365/80 or are they 365/85?
The rims you commented on are 11.25 bolt circle. Since what you posted is a 13.29, you would be comparing two very different rims for it's sales potential. I'll take it you don't have the dual wheels with the 11.25 bc...you have what...
We seem to always have one of four that will not hold a charge. Take the terminals loose and check voltages. Use the highest 2 and charge them if you have a chance. They connect in series + - + -. Remove everything else, including the slave port wires.
I've found some slave ports with...
According to what I see on Timken for the 596 bearing and the 593, they both have a million rev rating of 48,600 each....so 4 times that. I'd want duals also for stability.
Check out the dog bones on a five ton, two below on the outside and one above inside the frame. Notice there are holes...
I think I recall having one with a flat head socket head cap screw that was up inside the chuck. It was just there to stop it from coming off, the Morse taper holds it. We use lead hammer, not a hard one.
I won a nice drill at GL, Parker in Michigan for the min bid a week ago. Got a note...
Caution....confirm the bolt circle, these appear to be 13.29".
Re stability...my 14.00 were not near as stable with a load as the shorter 395/80r20. Taller does not mean better, per se.
If I hadn't went from the 817 with duals to the M929 with GY 14.00, I probably never would have thought duals were so much more stable with a load. They are. The 395 Mich XLZ made a huge difference, but I still have a desire to go duals. Without selling my 931...I'm at a standstill however...
Must have missed them, do you mean GL?
Do you have a link to a past auction, we are apparently not to make a public post of a current one? Or PM me, please.
