. Welcome to the Outfit! Yes sir... Plenty of folks who can and will answer questions. Like @marchplumber mentioned, TM's (Technical Manuals) will be your friend. Download them and cruise through them. They will help you "talk the talk" when you need info. Anyhow, welcome!

    Fuel Filter Mystery

. Yessir, maybe well maintained means something different in Colorado? Then again too, it may be that as you started driving the truck - the sludge in the bottom of the tank got picked up and passed through the filter - until it couldn't pass any more... You might get a bright flashlight and...

    MEP-803A —— Did I Score? I think so……

. @Tinstar , I have been crawling through a mess of digital TMs and just came across a boat load of Warranty "TBs". The HEMTT, the generators, the M916, 18 and 20 and a bunch more. Had no idea we had bulletins with that sort of information...

    Another problem with M135??

. Yessir. Starting Fluid . Either - Both smell about the same. So, you have already sprayed all around the carb - with no change at all? I really don't think that you will solve it with a new belt on the generator. I mean it sure won't hurt to change it. If you have a fully charged battery...

. Yeah. That diesel fuel doesn't burn in a gas powered vehicle. Ha! He got what he deserved!

    Another problem with M135??

. You could buy a can of either... Running the motor, spray the either all around the carb and you should see an increase in speed if you find an intake leak. Cheap way to check. You just hone in on the space where you spray...

Getting gas mix into engine block

. Well, I would suggest that you disassemble the fuel pump again. Carefully inspect the diaphragm. Even a pinhole will let gas through there. Any chance you might find a replacement diaphragm? Maybe look at White Owl over in Kinston NC? I would let the rear main seal (RMS) draw back up to...
